Glass

  • Today, standard quality windows are built around what's called an insulated glass (IG) unit. An insulated glass unit starts out as two or three individual panes of glass that are chemically bonded by a sealant to spacer bars. IG glass is the most economical option.

  • Lo-E glass is an excellent overall performer for climates where the sun is constantly on the offensive. As a specially formulated two-layer coating, many opt for Low-E for its great solar performance and gentle gray hue.

  • Low-E3 delivers the perfect balance of solar control and high visible light transmission. This coating is designed to provide comfort and energy savings during hot weather days and provide a great thermal insulating quality by preventing heat from conducting through the insulating glass unit. It blocks 95% UV light infiltration. However, due to its high performance level it has a slight green tint.

  • LoE-i89 is an energy-saving 4th surface coated glass. It offers excellent visible light transmittance and low reflectance. The type of glass is suitable for clients who need to meet new Title 24 regulations as of 2026.

  • We offer windows that have upgraded glass for better noise cancellation. Please inquire for more information.

  • After choosing your glass type, you may also choose to make it tempered.

Tempered glass is specially treated to be 4x stronger than standard annealed glass and shatters into small pieces to avoid harm to nearby persons.
